How We Started

Hello, I’m Bryan Witt, CEO and founder of Executive Security Services, a premier physical security provider based in the Pacific Northwest.

Executive Security Services was founded in 2004, almost 20 years ago, as a side hustle from my career in law enforcement, and has since grown into a thriving physical security firm. What makes us better than other security companies out there? Our experience, our company culture, and pride in the work that we do.

Our Experience

Our co-founder and my father, Carl Witt, retired in 2003 from a distinguished 37-year career in law enforcement. Having also had a successful career in law enforcement, I wanted to create a business that could draw on our experience and fill a need. We saw a niche in risk management and decided to cater to a clientele that needed security while traveling or transporting valuable merchandise. Our physical security company had kicked off, and we have continued to grow since then.

Today, our entire management team has actual law enforcement experience as career police officers. This experience and training is imparted on our employees, some of whom are current or retired law enforcement themselves, and bring a unique set of skills to the table in fulfilling our goal to be the premier security firm in the Pacific Northwest.

Since our inception, Executive Security has raised the bar in the security industry. With over 200 employees in multiple states, we can provide many forms of physical security. Services range from providing armed and unarmed guards, uniformed, or plain clothes security professionals, and on-site or on call services.

In terms of organizational structure, we have more managers and supervisors than other companies our size. This enables us to provide better support not only to our guards but to each of our management staff and reduce burnout due to the multiple layers of management and supervision. Our Account Managers are very engaged with the sites and personnel they manage and are available as a resource for them.

Our management structure also gives us some advantages since we always have someone on call as well as a Field Supervisor on duty 24/7 to provide as much support as possible to our people and clients.

What I like most about our company is that everyone is invested in success. It took time to get there, but this attitude is truly what sets us apart. We are only as successful as our team. It is very important to us that our employees feel valued. Valuing our employees is the secret to our success - and it has worked.
